Zip-Off Cargo Pants

I don't like the changes made to the rest of the pant to allow them to produce this product at its target cost. I also dont like that the zippers are reversed on one leg, as I can put the left leg back together way quicker than the right. I constantly have an issue with the button coming undone when I wear a belt, so I wish they either made a 35 waist, or had a bigger button head / smaller eye slit to prevent this. If these had an additional pocket to store the extra leg panels when zipped off so I didnt lose some function of the 2 cargo pockets that would also be better. Might prefer a slightly longer shorts length, ehich would move the zipper to a more comfortable spot that I wouldnt constantly feel rubbing on my legs, but I'm just very sensitive to weird stuff.

I absolutely love these. My girlfriend is getting annoyed how much I mention them lol.

The magnetic pockets are awesome and as a daily driver are very nice to help offload my regular-carry stuff (phone, wallet, keys) into the side pockets; I have a problem with my knee and it can be frustrating to ever have things in my upper pockets. The "tool" pocket (above the side cargo pockets) fits the LTT store driver well and also doesn't irritate my knee.

I've been helping with a bunch of work on a friend's attic (insulation, vapour barrier, drywall, etc) and as it gets warmer in there the zip-off's are a life saver.

I will say they are a fair bit shorter on pockets than the full-fat cargo pants, so if you need a lot of pockets those may be a better bet.

Also I'm just a software developer that likes doing DIY on the side, so I am by no means a hard-wearing reviewer... But for my use they are great.

As nice as the zip offs are, the length of the shorts themselves are very high, approximately 3 1/2 inches above the knee when sitting. I ordered the same waist size as I do for the regular cargo pants, however these are significantly tighter and less comfortable in the groin and around the hips, even though the sizing guide shows they should be somewhat similar.

The material and construction otherwise are excellent and if the fit were larger I would absolutely love them.

Overall I cannot recommend these as the fit is much smaller than the original cargo pants. Had I retained the original packaging before washing I would try to return.

Really good, I actually prefer these the the regular cargo pants as they have less pockets and feel not a thicken and hot due to the multiple layers of fabric from all the pockets.

Always bought zip of pants from Costco but will be making a change to these more colours for me please.
